SPG junkies- fav SPG hotel/resort?

I'm trying to piece together a possible trip over Thanksgiving. I'm getting married in August and had only planned 2.5 weeks for the wedding/honeymoon due to school. Due to some changes in my company's tuition policy and me living in two different states, I ended up deferring my enrollment. So, now that I'm not in school, I'm bummed that our honeymoon isn't an extra week. So, we're going to take "HM Part 2" in November (i know, it's not really a HM then, but we like to pretend!) I have a ton of SPG points to burn, so I'm trying to come up with ideas. We'll fly on a Star Alliance carrier and I'm open to tropical, Europe, or even domestic. Due to what we do for a living, we do have travel restrictions to certain parts of the world. We cannot travel to a destination on the State Dept. warning list and cannot travel to Mexico. Budget is not an important factor. We'll be looking to travel from 11/16 or 11/17-11/24 or 11/25.

    While the hotel is not the most amazing, we love their beach front and everything else about the location at the Westin Grand Cayman.

    St. Regis Bora Bora. W Maldives... can you tell I like tropical destinations :) My husband and I stayed at the Le Meridien in Chiang Mai and it was wonderful as well

    Thanks for all of the suggestions!

     

    I've actually been to French Polynesia 5 times, so I'm going to skip that. It's my favorite place to visit though! And heading to the Maldives next year when I can take more than a week off :)

     

    I'm going to look further into Greece. We spent last T'giving in London, but maybe we need to go back!
