Seeing your new siggy pic of Jenna made me wish so badly that we lived closer so that she and Caleb could play! They would have so much fun together now! How is Miss Jenna doing?
Re: *Lisa*
Hey girl! I know, I was thinking about that today too when I saw your new siggy pic! I hope that one day we can all find a way to get together!
All is well here - just gearing up for the holidays! Mike took Jenna for her 2nd flu shot today. She's still a little peanut at 17 lbs 7 oz! She's crawling full speed now and pulling up on things. It's CRAZY how quickly it happens! How's little Caleb???
He's good! He has been trying soooo hard to crawl and finally did it for the first time this morning! Granted, he didn't get very far, but he definitely took some "steps" on his knees! So exciting! He also pulled up in his crib the other day so we have GOT to lower his mattress ASAP! I keep forgetting. We also have to baby proof the house. I feel like we are outgrowing our house b/c he has toys everywhere and I just need more space to sit and play with him...especially once he starts crawling everywhere. He's just so much fun now and I'm sure Jenna is too...I wish he could stay this age for a long time!
Yeah Caleb! It took Jenna several weeks to figure out how to coordinate moving her hands with her feet so that she could really crawl. I kind of miss the days where she was sitting up but not really moving around too much. Now I really can't turn my back on her at all - sucks sometimes... We've already had a few near accidents and bad mommy moments....
I hear you on the babyproofing (we've done none.....) and the no room in the house. We really need to make our sun room in to a play room - it's amazing how much stuff a little person can have!!! But, she is so much fun right now!
Have you tried putting her in the PNP just to keep her "contained" so you can go in another room? I packed mine away, but have been thinking I may need to pull it out soon for that very reason. Yeah, I love being able to sit him on the rug in the LR with his toys and go in the kitchen to do dishes or whatever. Guess those days will be over soon!
We have to get rid of our coffee table in our LR. Mainly b/c it has a glass top and will be dangerous for him, but also to make more room. We are thinking of getting an ottoman type of coffee table instead...the kind that opens up for storage. That way, it will be soft and we can throw his toys in there. We'll see... I really just want a bigger house! LOL!
What about teeth? Does she have any, and, if so, how bad was teething? Caleb doesn't have any yet...I can't even see that anything is about to appear and he hasn't had any teething symptoms thus far. I'm dreading it. I hear all these awful stories about how it makes them not want to take a bottle and they don't sleep well. It's like, as soon as things get really good and sleeping gets better and you get a routine, teething begins and throws everything out of whack!
