My first bf/highschool sweatheart contacted me last night!
He found me on FB. At first I was afraid to accept his friends request because he looks like a badassed marine now. We were both age 14-16 then... it has been 19 years, dang I feel old. We have a phone date tonight to catch up and share stories. It is going to be interesting.
Re: My first bf/highschool sweatheart contacted me last night!
It just to catch up as friends, he is in Nevada at the moment. He doesn't appear married on his Facebook page and but I rather hear that from him. I wouldn't be surprised if he would try to make it more than friends if he is single. He has tried to look for me several times over the years, even knocking at my dad's door to ask about me (I was away in another city at college at the time).
If he is anything I am assuming to be based on the superficial judgments of his pictures on his page, I don?t think this is the person I would want to be anything more than a casual friend with. But I will try to keep an open mind and yet guarded tonight.
You are not nosy at all, very good questions. I use the video phone, This way I can talk directly to the caller and they will hear my voice. Usually the caller has no idea that there is a sign language interpreter interpreting. But I think for tonight, it will start out with texting first or IM.
I was able to hear the phone somewhat back in high school so he is probably wondering if that is something I can still do but unfortunately I can't. If he knew sign language, we would be able to converse directly on the video phone without the use of an interpreter.
They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
