Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

my office sucks
i don't usually vent about work or coworkers but i am just so at a point of WTF?!!?!?!?!?! in the last year, we've lost about more than half of our team. they decided to leave the agency and go work at another social services agency. more power to you. but, it's just horrible on a "team morrale" when it happens all within the same time. 4 new coworkers in such a short amount of time. now we're stuck building a "group" relationship and it sucks. people suck. people don't respect one another and they just "dont' get it". it's case management social work so there's a lot of grey. one coworker just urks me to peices b/c she questions everythinggggggggg. I mean, i get she's still learning but GOD!
i don't know. i just try and stay positive and keep my eye on the prize - graduation and hopefully getting a new job soon. i want out of there. but at the same time, i'll miss the original work crew - it's about 4 other people. they are great and i get along with them great and they get me & my humor. so, we'll see. maybe this is practice for what work-life will be like in a school building with 200 employees that don't all like/know/etc each other.

Re: my office sucks
In my experience (and I've worked at quite a few different offices in different fields with all the moving around) some offices suck and some offices don't. I think it ends up from the top down, but the overall climate of a work place can be really hard to deal with and really hard to change.
I hope you find a place you click with when you graduate! It really does make all the difference in the world! I hope I never, ever have to work in a crappy office environment again. There's just no need for people to be mean to each other or to be big whiners/complainers - especially at the work place! Bugs the crap out of me!
