I'm thinking of signing up for a half marathon NEXT year. My Corp office is in Cincy and some of the girls there are trying to talk me into it. Is this a good race, crowd support, etc? Or not a good idea for my first half?

I won't lie, the course isn't easy. You cross bridges from Cinci into Northern Kentucky and back in to Cinci (which isn't all that easy) and there's the infamous Eden Park hill (from about mile 5.5 to mile 8). But the race itself is great-its well organized and well staffed, and the crowd support is awesome...I'd definitely recommend it!
I ran the pig as my second marathon. It had awesome crowd support! My recap is here: http://eatrunbrit.com/2010/05/03/cincinnati-flying-pig-marathon/
Sorry for no hyperlink. I'm phone posting.

People dress up like flying pigs, all the more reason to go! I'm from Cincy and we're a little crazy about our pigs. I wanted to walk the 5K or voulenteer on race day but it's 1st Communion weekend in our families so no-go this year. A friend & I are planning on going down to the expo on Friday.
