My sister eloped last Friday and informed me about it via email on Saturday. I was disappointed she didn't tell me beforehand because I would have liked to go, but whatevs. So I asked if I could send her a wedding gift, and if so, what sort of stuff would she like. She responds with the following suggestions:
-$500 Kitchenaid mixer
-All Clad pots and pans
-Le Creuset dutch oven
-$200 food processor
-$30 wine aerator

I told her there's no way I'm buying her a $500 Kitchenaid. The only reason I own one is because I snagged it during that Lowe's misprint debacle. And she's asking for all this fancy cookware stuff, but she doesn't really cook. She just wants to get into cooking.

Yeah, a ka mixer is only for someone who thought to invite me to their wedding. Sisters included. I've been in such a bad mood this week. I am filled with rage for no reason whatsoever. And my mom is not helping those violent urges. She was supposed to pick up Miles from dc today because she does this "every other week" (which means she's done it a whopping three times since he started dc at 4 months of age). She said she was coming and seemed to really mean it this week then called to cancel this morning because it is supposed to rain this afternoon. Srsly.
I could have sworn I already posted in here. I forgot what though. Apparently it was really random.
I'm not feeling good and I want to go home NOW. But I feel bad because I wasn't here last week. I finished an epic task today so it's not like I'm going to do anything else anyway.
