What's new? Ups? Downs?
Any and all PIPs are welcome!

Re: Babies and bumps (to-be)
Ups: I'm feeling pretty good, although getting winded fairly easily. I just rejoined a gym, so hoping to get back to exercising as much as I can. My next midwife appointment is Monday, but that willl just be a basic check in - the big ultrasound is scheduled for May 31!
Downs: We decided that we won't be going back to NYC this summer, which means I won't be having a baby shower. I'm a little bummed, as is MIL, but it just didn't make sense, time and cost-wise, for us to fly back. She did throw out doing something via skype, but I'm not quite sure how that would work!
I'm starting to get a little bump, although fairly small. Most of you probably already saw this, but this is 15 weeks:

Sushi - you look so cute! I have been to a baby shower via skype. It worked out well. Basically we either ordered something from the registry and shipped it to them, or we did gift cards and then her mother mailed them all to her. The invites were a standard baby shower, however it indicated the mother to be would be there via skype, and that gift cards were appropriate due to that. I hope you get one either way.
Ups: Christian has exploded in new words. It's crazy all the things he says now, and how he talks with his hands a lot, and great facial expressions.
Zach has started with a few more words, however they are mumbled, but there. He also LOVES to read. He will pick up a book, sit down, flip through the pages, and just talk like he is reading the story. I love it!
Downs: Obviously, Zach with his fall and getting his first battle wound. At least if there is going to be scarring, his hair will cover it.
Christian - Jealousy & continued temper tantrums.
Preston has gotten very bad with his hitting. Jordan will not take up for himself and he just lets Preston be mean. It has become a real issue in our house.
Jordan is doing great in baseball and is making new friends. I am really looking forward to some free time when it ends, but I will miss the socializing time and all the excersice me and Jordan are getting.
Sushi you look adorable! Do you and/or your DH have a feeling if it's a boy or a girl? Any names picked out?
Kat - I'm so glad to hear Zach is ok.
Ups: I O'd! It was a pretty early O for me as well, so hopefully my exercise and diet changes are paying off.
Downs: I'm trying not to get my hopes up to much, which is alway hard. But on the other hand I think if you aren't getting your hopes up it's a sign your giving up and I'm definitely not giving up!
Thanks! I think it's a boy, but DH won't comment. We're still undecided as to whether we're going to find out or not, but we're leaning towards yes. We haven't even discussed names yet, and probably won't until we find out (or make the decision not to) - I'm afraid we won't agree on a lot of names, so we're postponing that discussion!
Bailey, fx for you. Your chart looks good so far, and you had great timing!

Like Mandee, I have been chart stalking you for days now. I know how hard it is trying not to get your hopes up, which is why I haven't said anything. But I am keeping toes, fingers, everything crossed for you because your chart does look amazing!
Sushi, you look adorable. I love it.
Bailey, fx for you this cycle! Your timing looks great.
Today is my due date! Ahhh! I can say though, I'm not having a baby today. My doc did the first internal check today and my cervix is still closed.
Chewy is definitely head down, which is great, and the BPP went well on Monday. Tomorrow I'm off for a Non Stress Test to check on him and unless he comes out on his own, he's scheduled for eviction Sunday May 6th.
I'm still feeling pretty darned good, all things considered, and having time to just be at home and relax for the last 2 weeks has been great. The swelling in my feet is a lot better. I'm still plagued by carpal tunnel, especially in my right hand, but that's getting better too.
Also? This week was FINALLY the first week where I didn't get any weight. I actually lost a lb (and I've got jeans on today!). It's nice to see that finally slow down/stop.
Here's a pic of me from just now. I'll probably get Derek to take a more official 40 week picture later, but with just me, this works!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Yay for all the bumps!
This is my first, quick Momma post. Here is Madison this morning just hanging out on her bouncy chair.
Ups - yay for my baby but these early days are seriously rough and this week I'm finding more downs than ups. Being pregnant was easy for me but breast feeding and taking care of her in general are hard
Downs - pp hormones and breastfeeding. I'm finding myself very frustrated and not knowing what to do much of the time. I went to a health unit breast feeding appointment today and it made me feel better and she latched great there but now that we are home, not so much. I find myself questioning if she is full. She normally only eats for 10-20 mins or so but she just fed for about 50 minutes and is still sticking her tongue out and being restless. I put her in her bouncy chair with the vibration on because I know if I hold her, she will just smell food and I can't feed anymore right now. I'm trying to not cry as much.
re: post partum weight loss. I gained 29 pounds with the pregnancy and as of this morning I have lost 21 of those pounds without doing anything other than breastfeeding. I am finding in the past couple days that I don't have an appetite but I'm forcing myself to eat. Here are some comparison pics for your viewing pleasure.
Two days before Madison was born. I guess at 38w5d...
Here is today at 13 days postpartum...
BFP 5/2/11, missed m/c, D&C 6/13/11
BFP 12/8/11--Little Girl E Born 8/22/12
You sound like me! We didn't get most things done until, I dunno, 37 weeks? I still have stuff to do. Ha!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
