I went shopping today. Clothes, jewelry & cosmetics.
Went to Macys, Sephora, and 2 Dillards stores.
MACYS:
Got jean on sale- Charter Club Total Control Curvy Bootcut (14w). These fit GREAT. No gapping in the back, not so high waisted that they swallow your ribcage, and not tight in the leg. If you have an houglass figure, look for them in the store (I can't find them online). They were $32.
Also loved the JM Collection Woman No-Gap Skimmers (capri pants). The roomy legs hit slightly below the knee and the waist lays flat. Another great fitting item (also can't find online- why Macys does this I don't know).

I don't own anything with an asymmetrical hemline, but I just loved the colors on this dress and on a lark, took it into the fitting room. Now I keep thinking about it.
At the MAC counter, I didn't find blush, but I did buy an eyeshadow single:
It's called Goldenrod and it's the only yellow-gold eyeshadow I found that has no shimmer. It's totally matte, and I am going to grate some of it into my facepowder because my skin is so yellow, makeup always looks grey on me.
SEPHORA:
I took all the blush advice you girls gave me, plus the reviews I read online, and looked at everything on my long list. I took the MAC eyeshadow that I was trying to match (I used it for blush and LOVED it). I ended up getting 2 new blushes: Buxom True Hue blush in Breathless ($25), and at the drugstore, L'Oreal True Match in Rosy Outlook ($8.95).
DILLARDS:
I only looked at costume jewelry here. Got several things, none of which can be found online, but I'll try to post pics tomorrow.

Let us know how the eyeshadow in the powder works. That shadow is REALLY yellow, so I'm kinda skeptical!
