Hi all!! I didn't abandon you already...
Hi ladies! Sorry I've been away. I've had a really bad few weeks. Lots of work, being sick, passport issues, bad pregnancy news, and an "unknown" mass was found at my routine OB follow-up. Now I have a surgery on Tuesday and am freaking out a bit. All of this happening less then 2 weeks from my vacation.
So, yes.... I needed a board break until I could catch my breath and I figured no one would want to hear about my crazy crap. I probably would have driven you all crazy. 
How have you all been???? Missed you all and I promise I will try to be more active!
So, has anything happened while I was away??? Anyone have good news to share?

Girl, don't be afraid to come here and "talk" things out if you need to. I promise no one will be irritated if you have to vent or rant or cry or whatever you need to do!
I'm sorry you got bad news and have had/will have a few rough weeks. But, after that I know you guys will enjoy yourselves on vacay and I'm super jealous.
TDMD09 - Thanks! We are hoping it's nothing serious and the procedure should be an easy one. I think it is similar to a D&C. I was in shock at the time, so I stopped paying attention to what he was saying.
Steeser - I feel bad being the newbie and unleashing all of this. But yes, this vacation could not have come at a better time! Even though I will not have electricity, plumbing, AC, or a poolside bar... I am still excited. I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but Brett booked this trip. He picked an "eco-friendly" resort, which is pretty much an upscale camping trip. I could have killed him!

We are leaving out of NY and going to Orlando and the Bahamas. Since one of our travelers can't fly, we were very limited on options.
Steeser - We will have some plumbing (kind of).... It's a compost toilet and solar heated garden hose for our shower! Hopefully we have sun.

No plumbing? I don't think I'd do well at an eco-friendly resort....
I went camping once when I was 12 and that was more than enough of the outdoor life for me. I like plumbing. And electricity.
LOL that sounds potentially painful. I would kill my husband too.
I've had two D&Cs, they're pretty quick and straight forward. Let me know if you have any questions about it. ((hugs))

That will be fun! We did something similar out of Baltimore (mostly because it was easy for us out of DC) and had a great time! We went to Harry Potter World while in Orlando and it was amazing, and we snorkled and shopped in Nassau.

I hope surgery goes well and that it isn't anything major.
Despite the lack of plumbing and electricity that sounds like a fun trip! I think I need to go on one and take a break from technology! I'm sure you will have a blast.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had a hard time lately. I hope it gets better and you start to feel better soon. Although I must admit that an eco-friendly resort doesn't really sound like my cup of tea, I'm sure you'll still have a good time and hopefully feel rejuvinated when you return!
