I'm doing the inaugural Irongirl Half in Columbia, MD on Sunday. Joan Benoit Samuelson will be there running it, and afterwards she'll be helping hand out medals, so it would be sweet if I got mine from her!

This weekend is the calm before the storm -- my marathon is next weekend and I'm pumped!!!!

I've been racing every weekend, but this is the race that I have been training for so I am excited! It's the National Duathlon Championships, so it will be super competitive. I am excited to see if I can hang in there and a little nervous that I will try too hard and bomb the 2nd 5K. But whatever, its just for fun and I am ready to rock.
