I know! I constantly feel like I'm going to jinx it if I allow myself to plan, or even mentally decorate.
I won't even dare create a ticker. That's just dream suicide.
All I can do right now is read about everyone else's closing date, and be happy for them, and hope ours comes soon too.
This entire house-buying process has made me superstitious!
Marg, when is your supposed closing date?
Ha! True statement! We are set to close July 6 and can lock our interest rate in or around May 12. I don't know if I'm more excited about closing or locking the rate . . at this moment I think its locking the rate! lol

We locked ours at 3.75%
but the APR is at 4.5% ?
I just asked my hubby and that's the answer he gave me. Not sure what it means but at this point I don't care. I just want to get into the house! I'll sleep on the floor if need be!

How cool, yours is right around the corner! I wish you luck. We did the 30 day rental once, and you'd be surprised how comfy one can get anywhere in just 30 days.
