I hate revas but I bought a second pair

I bought a new pair in February and already the right shoe doesn't even stay on my foot, the back flops off. Both pairs I've had do this. It's so obnoxious.  I'm not buying them again. For real this time!

Re: I hate revas but I bought a second pair

  • Stupid question, but are you buying the right size? I've never had this problem with them.
  • Is there anyway you could get a heel insert to stay in on the one that flops off or is the elastic part too funky for that? I'm thinking maybe down at the base of the shoe under where the elastic gathers.

Mine do the same thing! They fit perfectly, I just don't understand what it is about my feet compared to other people's feet since this doesn't happen to everyone.

I can't imagine that would work.

Works for mine, which I'm wearing right this minute.

    I stand corrected.

  • Which material - smooth leather, crinkled, patent? Maybe one is more likely to stretch?

I sized down per rec of the store help to accommodate for stretching and have never had a problem

  •  my pairs are Different sizes in an attempt to remedy the issue. Happens for both. They are both the smooth leather. I'll try a heel insert.

I just  think that these shoes aren't good for my feet, as much as I like the look. The toe box is too short also... I don't think it's made for those with long toes... Haha

  • I've never had this issue either; the elastic on the back digs into my foot so badly that I have to wear those Band-Aid blister patch things every time I wear the Revas.  I'm debating taking them to the cobbler and having them put longer elastic in.
