My loan has been with the senior underwriter most of the month. It finally came out yesterday but because I am using a state down payment program (GA Dream) it has to go to them now. I am supposed to close on the 30th but I don't see a possible way that I can make that date. I just want to close already and start in my new house! My Realtor told me it was fine because we really have 7 days from that date to close. This isn't really a question so much as sharing my anxiety with others. Hope everyone has a great house hunting/buying/loaning day!

Our closing date was April 15th, we just extended our contract for the second time yesterday, so I feel your pain. You're not alone! Keep pumping out that positive energy and keep imagining it getting done and it will happen!
My fingers are crossed for you! Best of luck.
You too!
Ugh yes, isn't it just horrible! I wake up every day an say: please let today be the day!
GeorgiaRiah,
We also are using the GA Dream to purchase our first home.
Best wishes on closing on your new home soon.
Well I heard today that I definitely won't be closing on Monday. They have moved me to late Friday. Cross your fingers and hope that it happens then.
Thanks!
