Is anyone interested in doing a 30-day clean eating challenge?
I am thinking about doing this, because I am kind of disgusted by all the crap I ate on my recent trip to Las Vegas. Also, I think it will be eye opening and help me develop better habits.
My focus would be on not eating anything packaged, or with articial chemicals / sugar added etc. I would love to have some support through this though -- it will definitely be a challenge!
If enough people are interested, I will start a facebook group or something so we can post food pics and motivation.

I might be interested, but I'd rather not use FB.
I know I'm not on much (mainly a lurker) but I would be interested in trying this. I have thought about it before and think I need to take baby steps. I just started WW again, too, so this would help.
Okay, we will keep it on here. It is just a pain to post pictures here. I like to take pictures of my food with my phone (after I put a lot of work into preparing it) and it's so easy to upload to facebook. I think the rest of the world wonders why I post pictures of my food lol.
Anyway, I have a great receipe for salmon burger if anyone is interested.
Also, do you want to start today, or wait until May 1. I am kind of for starting today, because why wait?
I'm interested in more information about what is clean vs. not clean. I feel like I only have a general sense. Any good links with lists of examples?
(And I'm interested in the salmon burger recipe!)
Ditto this! I don't think that I can do 100% clean right now, but shooting for even 70-80% would be an improvement. Also, I have been really cleaning up my kids' diets recently. But it is a challenge to find non-processed foods that they WANT to eat. Especially for breakfast. I would love some new ideas for them.
I'd certainly be interested! Mine may not be 'perfect' but it's a lot cleaner than prior to SO's food allergies being uncovered. (I have to admit, Friday night is my cheat night and the pulled pork fries that I am envisioning are NOT going to be a good start).
But, I did have a turkey burger with no bun, green beans and seasoned red potatoes for lunch! (so I feel a little better about the pulled pork fries - just a little)

I vote for starting May 1st. That gives some time to do grocery shopping (I usually go Sundays). I don't think I could do 100% just yet, either but would love to improve my eating!
I agree
I like starting on May 1st, so the whole month of May will be the challenge. Of course there's no reason we can't start eating healthier today anyway (I'm trying...). I don't know if I'll manage 100% clean, but the accountability to the group will be my motivation to try.
In looking for definitions on clean eating, I rather like methods 1 or 2 on this page: http://www.thegraciouspantry.com/what-is-clean-eating/ Except for the meat part (I'm vegetarian).
Also this gives a general idea that I think is good: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/livestrongcom/clean-eating-5-simple-ste_b_632545.html
Yes!
ETA: I can't start today, because I just downed some peanut M&M's. May 1 is perfect for me, but I'm going to do my best between now and then.
For those who said they needed some guidance, I love thegraciouspantry.com as a resource.
For me, the cleaner I eat, the more dairy I have! Mostly because it's a great protein source for a vegetarian, as long as it's low-fat. Plus blue cheese is the best :-)

I am in the midst of this one and it seems pretty good.
