I'm reading through this months "County Name Parents" magazine and there is a full-page ad for an 8 week "kindergarten boot camp" to prepare your child for K.

Then I agree with you..
WTF Kindergarten Boot Camp? They should be doing fun things over the summer and if they are educational they should be fun things like science camp where you make lots of goo and launch rockets.
