As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Our kitchen floor was supposed to be installed on Monday. I just called to see if it was in and they told me it was backordered. They wrote down the wrong phone number and as a result, couldn't reach me. It looks like I will not have it for another month. yes... I said month! @#$%$#@ We are walking on subfloor currently. I need a @%#$@$ kitchen floor
It is backordered at the manufacturer so there isn't anything i can do. My kitchen renovation hinges on getting the floor done (for a variety of reasons) so my hopes of getting it done by memorial day are shot.
We had the contractor lined up for 2 weeks for our kitchen. We have more work for him in our master, but aren't ready for him. Guess we will be trying to get ready for him this weekend... argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't want to lose him to another project.

My entire new house is sub-floor and the special order flooring arrived but the install company said it would be two weeks before they could start.
I did start crying and tried to pull my self together enough to apologize (I was a little mortified at losing it) and explained my back-story (new house, divorce, moving into it in 5 days, mom flying in to help me move, etc)
They called me back within 10 minutes with a new date (in 3 days) and put a more experienced worker on the job to make the install go quicker so I could move in one day after I had originally planned
LOVE THEM!
It is especially touching with all my recent drama that a total stranger (or group of strangers) re-arranged their schedules just to make my life a little easier.
