Hasta la vista, and who will bail me out?

We're flying to a cruise port tomorrow to head on a 5-day trip with my mom and her beau. (He's cool, thankfully.)

PLEASE keep me in your thoughts/prayers/juju/what-have-you that I do not have to prompt my own arrest by going postal on the TSA. I'm reviewing their site tonight and I'm already cringing. I had a serious talk with the kids tonight about staying by me & Daddy, to stay in a chair if WE tell them to, and to always look to US for instruction if a person in a uniform is telling them what to do. Because damned if I'm going to teach my kids that any person in a uniform who wants to pat their bottom should get priority over ME.

If it makes you feel better, Megan travels alone all the time and has never been pulled. And when I went through with all my students, none of them got pulled. In fact, I can't remember the last time I saw a kid being pulled.

But I'm sort of close if you need me. Smile

When we traveled last month, I made a pit stop and met DH and Ben on the other side of security, I got in line behind a family and they let them all go through the regular X-ray. They wanted me to go through the porno oven and I declined. While I was enjoying my freedom grope, I asked why the family got to go through the regular X-ray and she said the new policy is kids under 12 and their parents don't have to go through the porno ovens. I was miffed at myself for the pit stop! Moral - stick close to the kiddos. Good luck!
