Paint color help PLEASE!!
My family and I are moving into a rental house (we have a home in another town that we're fixing up to sell before we buy where we're at). It is a pretty cute craftsman style house with great cherry woodwork. Unfortunately someone painted the woodwork black!! They said we can paint the walls if we want so I'm very happy...but I'm not sure what color to paint. I'm considering painting the woodwork white but I'd rather not go through the hassle.
What somewhat neutral colors do you think would work with black woodwork (our living room furniture is brown so I'd like to stay away from anything too brown/tan). I'd love to see pictures or links for inspiration if you have any!
