I'm shopping for a dress for my baby shower, which is in about 6 weeks in South Florida. I looked at Target yesterday, but they didn't have anything good in store. I have one Gap Maternity dress, but I'll be wearing it the night before for my HS reunion, as it's a little dressier. Help me! Target has some cute ones, but I can't seem to pick which one, or what color. Many seem to be out of stock in my size, but I'm hoping they'll restock soon. Wich should I get?

Kate's Recipe Box || Relatively Bookish
I love option 1! I'd personally go for the blue or purple.
I also love option 4, but I don't think it's maternity. You may could get away with it anyway since its empire waisted and long. If thats okay, then I'd say pink or teal. I actually have that one pinned to keep an eye on it for when it goes on sale
I'm the odd one out. I really like number 3!
I don't like #2 just because it seems quite casual, you need something a little more for your baby shower. It would be a good just every day dress though for the summer.
This is exactly what I think!
This exactly.
I have #4 pinned in the fuchsia because I want it, but I think you'd be too hot. FWIW, I wore non-maternity maxis all the time pregnant.

What are you looking at?
I agree with Lindsay. I like number one for a baby shower. I think the longer ones are more for evening wear but if your shower is during the day, Id go with one and wear some nice jewelry.
Check out Kohls as well... not sure if you all have Kohls but love that store.

Thanks ladies! I ordered #1 in two sizes and colors (coral and black, they only had black in a small) to try on, and a couple others that I didn't post to try on in a variety of sizes. I'll pick the best and return the rest. I'm sad they were out of stock of so many of them, #2&3 had nothing in a either size any color. Stupid Target. I decided to stick with a shorter dress given it's South Florida in June during the afternoon.
I got this one in the jade and purple: http://www.target.com/p/Merona-Womens-Maternity-V-Neck-Kimono-Sleeve-Knit-Dress-Assorted-Colors/-/A-13917624
This one in scuba: http://www.target.com/p/Merona-Maternity-Sleeveless-V-Neck-Knit-Dress-Assorted-Colors/-/A-13986840
And this one in black, which if I pick it, I'll probably wear my Gap dress for my shower and this to the reunion: http://www.target.com/p/Merona-Maternity-Sleeveless-Cowl-Neck-Pleated-Dress-Assorted-Colors/-/A-13894509
Now I'll get the fun of picking which to keep when they all come in in about a week. I hate being in between sizes and I've noticed maternity clothes tend to be cut really big in the chest area, like the arm holes are huge, but not so much everywhere else, which really makes it frustrating for those of us whose boobies didn't seem to want to grow with pregnancy, yet everything else is expanding!
