Are accent nails still in?

I painted my nails a tangerine color, and my ring fingers are a comparably bright pink. I like it and think it's fun -- but are accent nails even still in? I don't see many people wearing them.

I have only seen this on Pinterest and fashion blogs, but never in real life. I like it, but don't think I could get away with it because of my job. Since I still see it in blogs and elsewhere online, I suppose it is "in."

I've seen ladies rocking the accent nails all over Chicago, so I guess its still in! I haven't done it myself yet though...

Weird - I'm in Chicago, too, and I never see it. May be diff neighborhoods or something

Hmm perhaps! I spend most of my time in the Loop for school/work or on the North side around LP and Lakeview.

Aw my H loves Chicago. He interned in north barrington one summer while he was in college. He celebrated his 21st birthday in Chicago.

I love doing something subtle on my left ring finger. If I'm going pink nails I'll do a pink glitter coat on that finger. I think it's cute and for sure still in!

I always have accent nails. I usually do my ring fingers. I'll either do a glitter or a SH Salon Effects decal or, more recently now that I have the kit, a Konad stamp pattern. I love mixing it up with accent nails. I don't see it very often but when people notice mine I get lots of compliments. If you like the idea, go for it. It's only nail polish.
