AW 5K PR and 1st in age category
I have had an incredibly good racing season this spring. Legen - wait for it - dary.
21:35 is my new 5K PR. Overall pace of 6:57. Geez!!! I haven't seen one mile that started with a 6 in forever, no less 3 of them. I honestly didn't know if I could do it, especially since the course was entirely uphill in the last mile. That last mile was hard.
And I won a GC to a running store for being 1st in my age category. Yay! I need more socks.
I credit my Run like an animal Bondi Band for this one. Or all those miles I ran training for marathons over the last few months. Yes, speedwork makes you faster. But lots of miles also make you faster.

Awesome!!!!! You have gotten so so fast in the last couple years! I always paid a little extra attention to your posts b/c you are (ok, were!) fellow RI gal! Nicely done!!!!!!!
