My favorite jeans have a hole in them :( PIP

Any ideas of how to fix this hole? They fit perfectly and they have been my go to jeans forever it seems.. I am so sad and I hate jeans shopping. But it may be time to let go of these ones.
They are KUT so low... I cant find them online. Which websites should I check out. Nothing available on EBAY.

very interesting. Thanks for the info!
Perfect. Thanks!
I've had this unfortunately happen a few times to jeans
I wear them to death!
Yes, JoAnn's does carry denim-colored iron on patches. However, I would still stitch them after ironing them on so the hole doesn't spread, as it will in this high-stress area. Rather than make it look pretty, what I do is lots of back and forth with the sewing machine so it looks like darning, kind of. This is a good tutorial of how to do that:

They show it on a special machine, but for the crotch you do not need a special sewing machine, a regular one is fine. You can also buy thread to match your color denim, they even make "denim thread" where the color has variations and blends pretty well.
