Did my first brick today!
And it was the most awesome workout I've had in a while. If race day is as good as this was, I'm going to be really happy. Not that I was particularly fast or anything, but it just felt really good.
I did an almost 11 mile ride and a 2 mile run (the super sprint tri is 8 mile ride / 2 mile run) and was really toasted by the end of it, but was really excited to get out there and do it.

Great job!
Were your legs wobbly on the run at first?
Not wobbly really, not like I was expecting. It just felt weird. My cadence was really high coming off the bike (hubs & the girls had set up a mini transition for me) and so I just threw the bike to him, changed shoes (I was sockless), switched my helmet for my visor and I was off. So my legs wanted to continue turning over at a really fast rate and that's what felt so odd.
And my first half mile was at an 8:41 pace, which is astronomically fast for me, so I now know I have to really work on keeping the first bit of the run under control.
