what if there is no hair

if you have had laser hair removal and when your next session roles around and there is no hair do you still go in for the treatment?

  • I would call the laser clinic and ask them. I've never had laser, but there's a possibility that you may need to complete the set number of sessions to see permanent results. 
  • My place wants you to wait until there is some growth.  They say it's fine to shave the growth (not wax), but that some hair needs to have grown into the follicle prior to the next treatment.  The laser is drawn to the dark color of the hair, where the heat travels down the hair and then damages the follicle.  If there is no hair, there is nothing for the laser to zap.
