This is a public message board. When asked for opinions you may be surprised at what people say. Especially when you post that a father is not trusted to care for his own child when his wife is visiting their (other) sick child in the hospital. Some posters will actually point out that it is not the responsibility of the grandmothers to be at their house and at their beck and call whenever assigned.
If you don't want to hear the obvious, then THINK before you post. It is really annoying for people who read your post and take the time for thoughful responses to be bounced around by the nest because you Dirty Deleted.
Plus, it give no one else any chance to learn from all of the posts and good answers.
Really, its just a waste of time for everyone.

I read through some of the early responses to that post & never went back to see how it turned out, but it doesn't sound like it was too bad (based on livinitup's post).
No relation to this particular DD but, I have to say, it is rare to see someone admit they were in the wrong and accept others' POV--especially when the OP asked. With the exception of those who say they will DD due to sensitive info, it takes class/maturity to own it or accept the fact that not everyone agrees with you when you post for opinions.
