Are there any cool things you've gotten to see or do where you live lately?

Our city hosts an International fireworks competition every year. Last night was the first night of fireworks and it was pretty awesome! Canada, China and Vietnam went. Each had about a 20 minute display that was synched to music. They shot them over the river and I have never seen such chaos and traffic!! Thousands upon thousands of people were out in the street and on the bridges..luckily we got to enjoy from a friends balcony and had a great view! Tonight Italy and France will compete and we'll see who wins..so far Canada takes the cake!
