Maddicts come in...and NO spoilers, pls...
Yikes....Poor Sally.
And poor Pauline. I knew that one was coming.
I didn't get to see the scene that happened about 10:40 -- the dog hollared to go out so I heard part of the scene but didn't see what was going on.
And that looks like a boarding school Glen is in. I guess Helen and Husband shipped him off to parts unknown.
Re: Maddicts come in...and NO spoilers, pls...
i just posted on the entertainment board, so i apologize for repeating myself, but...
one day, all girls spread their legs and fly away. LOL!
loved the female support displayed in this episode - peggy/megan and joan/peggy.
roger's got his swag back!
Usually posts about the current ep have a spoiler warning in the title. You'd have to have Top Secret security clearance to get a future ep spoiler out of that set.
Is it possible to love Roger Sterling more?? Jesus and the Loaves and Fishes account. Loved his "date" with Sally, and her gogo boots. And how has this man gotten to that age wearing a suit every day and can't even tie his own bow tie? He's a little sad on his own. Agreed that Mona looked great.
Oh Peg. I think she'll understand eventually that this is what she wants, but it's hard to wrap her brain around that with Joan (as stand in for the old way) telling her she should want a ring. But her mother?! You knew that was going to end badly. It's a different story line, I like it.
I don't think Joan has told anyone about kicking Greg out?
How can you talk about the episode and not spoil it?
1. Julia Ormond! Did they put makeup on her to make her look older? she's only 46 or 47 in real life. I thought she was too young to be Megan's mom. I knew she and Roger would hook up. As soon as Roger did the double-take when he met her.
2. Speaking of Roger and Megan's mom.....poor Sally! Is there a chance in hell that child will grow up to not be dysfunctional? I have always loved Sally and Glen. He's a weird little guy, but he's the only true friend Sally has.
3. I though Peggy's Heinz idea was better, but I'm glad they won the business.
The title implies we're not talking about the episode.
Then what are we talking about?
Ditto all of this!! Yikes.
That scene where everybody was at the table looking disgusted, puzzled, dejected, etc. reminded me a great deal of the scene from "A Night To Remember" after Jimmy Barrett pulled the trigger on Don and then left. Remember what Betty and Don looked like right after Jimmy spoke his piece to Don.
