I love my friends but the next one who asks me to be a bridesmaid in a themed wedding that involes foundation garments like a gurdle or hopskirt is being let down. I just go back from the first of many dress fittings for a 60's themed wedding and I can honestly say if I didn't love the bride she would be dead. she was so perky and happy and normal when she asked me to me her maid of honor and just as peppy and happy when she just told me and the rest of the girls that we would be wearing authintic undergarments in july outside.

Exactly. Whenever people asked our theme I would say "we're getting married."
That sounds nightmarish. Isn't getting married enough and who's going to see your undergarments anyway to know they aren't 'period'.
