Guess who's still pregnant? This girl. Not for lack of trying, that's for sure. Derek was hoping he'd show this weekend, but no dice. Looks like we'll be having a May-by.
Friday night we went out to dinner, but decided to pass on a movie, as they all started at nearly 11, and, well, that's just too late.
Saturday we sat around just hanging out until nearly noon and then got to work. Sunday was productive too. Between the two days Derek finished up the work we can do now in the kitchen! All that's left to do is the backsplash and organizing, but the backsplash is going to have to wait a bit. So, it's essentially done!
How was everyone's weekend?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Monday!
Raynes - I don't think Chewy got the memo that he should be out by now. Anyhow, I still can't wait to "meet" chewy.
My weekend was great. I did absolutely nothing. It was amazing. I ran a couple errands with the boys Saturday morning, and the rest was playing, and cleaning. I will admit, Monday came way to quick.
Today I am busy at work since it's the last day of the month. DH is brining Zach to have the staple removed from his head this morning. I am so glad he is doing it, because I would lose it watching them do it. My mom is keeping Christian so he doesn't have to be dramatized watching what they do to Zach.
Anyhow back to the grind. Have a great day ladies.
I had a good weekend. Saturday was my SIL's baby shower. It was nice and great to see all of the family. I also got to go see her nursery. I'm so excited to meet my niece sometime before too long.
Yesterday it was gross and rainy all day. We took it kind of easy in the morning and then I got to the housework. I also got in a workout for the first time in way too long and boy am I feeling it today. I'm hoping that I can get myself back into the routine again.
Today, back to work. It's still gross and rainy and I'd much prefer to be in bed. I'm getting lunch with a friend though so I'm really looking forward to that.

Hi, everyone. We're back from vacation--we flew in Saturday and just took it easy this weekend. We ran some errands yesterday, spent some time outside, and did some catching up on personal and review website stuff. We're a bit mopey at being back; each time I go on vacation, I realize how much I don't like coming back to D.C. anymore. I wish we could move, but that won't be for a while.
I'm still off today thanks to a flex day, so that's nice. I have two reviews to write, I need to get cracking.
Hope everyone has a great day.
@raynes - I'm still holding out hope for a May 4th baby.
Our weekend was pretty good. Jim got up early and working on the Rebuilding Together house that the church was assigned. I went to the farmers market, pool, pharmacy (which I discovered had MOVED when I got there) and the grocery.
Sunday, I restarted the lower carb/higher protein diet that I did so well with last time, so I may be a little more cranky than usual this week. Plus, our boss is back from vacation today, so he's going to be a raving lunatic for the next several days. Yay!

My weekend was pretty good. It's much easier having DH around.
Saturday ended up being really hectic with getting out for groceries. Everything takes so much longer. My nephews birthday party was fun. Had to feed Madison there but then we got to stay out later. Uno with a 4 and 6 year old is a blast.
Yesterday was a whole lot of nothing.
Today I'm nesting one handed and can't wait for DH to get home. Madison woke up frantic and had a hard time latching so we had a rough morning. She is currently swaddled on me sleeping which is nice because otherwise she would be screaming.
Happy Monday! Yeah for 4 day work weeks that end in island get-a-ways.
Saturday was good. I went to visit my Mom and Dad. I made my parents a 10 hour slow cooked BBQ pork, a chickpea/fresh veg salad, corn on the cob and bourbon pecan pie. Since my Mom was in a car accident Wednesday I wanted to bring her something good to eat and enough so she didn't have to cook. It was good to see her and hug her. Except she's covered in black bruises.
At least that's the worst of it.
Sunday I went bathing suit shopping. I found a really cute sea blue and white polka dot bikini for cheap. I then took my car out to the mountains to drive. It was fun to enjoy the weather and the curvy roads. It was also nice to have some time to myself.
Sunday night DH and I went up on our roof to watch the Space Station go over head. When we first saw it it was over Missouri. It was almost as bright as Venus which you can see in the sky here. It moves fast though in less than 10 minutes it was gone.
Hi all!
This was the first weekend I've been home in what seems like forever (been travelling the last couple weekends) and it was SO nice! I spent the entire weekend with H and Ellie. Friday night we went out for a drink and to the movies to see The Five Year Engagement. It wasn't really what I was expecting - more dramedy than comedy. But a lot of it takes place in Ann Arbor and it was so fun to see my college town - even if they don't depict Michigan in the most flattering light.
Saturday we took Ellie to the vet first thing in the morning because she keeps "leaking" when she lays down. I guess she's accidentally peeing but it doesn't look or smell like urine...the vet thinks she has a UTI so the poor girl is on meds again. We did some errands and bought a digital antenna for our TV. It is crazy to actually watch live television again! Haha, I feel like a Mennonite or something, to be so excited about a silly antenna. (We boycotted cable earlier this winter b/c Comcast is the only provider in the city proper and it is absurdly expensive. The 'burbs 5 miles away have 3 different cable options but somehow Comcast has a monopoly on the city.)
Anyway, besides that, we took a couple long walks with Ellie this weekend and took her to the beach. I baked MIL a cake and we visited them last night to celebrate her birthday belatedly.
All in all, a very chill weekend - the best kind!
The weekend was good. Friday night Jordan did wonderful in his baseball game.
Saturday was my nephew's bday party and it went amazing. The boys went home with Dh's mom afterwards so that was nice. My sister had a formal school dance so I went with her and my mom to have her hair done and help her get ready then went with my mom to meet her "date" and take them to the dance and take pictures. It was so nice and I was so glad I was able to be there. It was sorta bittersweet after we left me and my mom started crying and had to pull over and hug each other. I wish my daddy was here to see my sister growing up. Then DH and I went to the house and laid wood flooring we got one room complete.
yesterday we went to look at appliances but no where had much. They all said they were stocking up for their memorial day sales so we are going to have to wait until closer to then to get them, but at least we have an idea of what we want. Also, our local sears is closing this week and we went to do some shopping since we didn't have the kids. DH got some really cheap craftsman tools and I got a couple of cute things.
Guess who's not pregnant? This girl. Whomp whomp whomp. Little CD 1 bitterness this morning.
My weekend was fabulous! Saturday we celebrated my nephews birthday, we had a great time and I got to spend a lot of time talking with my sister who was in town from Iowa. We ended up staying up at my sisters house until almost midnight talking and playing board games with everyone.
Sunday we slept in and I was able to get a little house work done before meeting up with my sisters for some lunch and shopping. After shopping we met up with all our guys and my parents for dinner. All in all a great weekend that went by way to fast.
I'm sorry bailey
We had a pretty productive weekend. It rained the entire time, so made it much easier to stay inside and get things done. I finally finished up our tax worksheet to send to our accountant, which was a huge PITA. Also did a bunch of other little things around the flat. Unfortunately I woke up very early Sunday morning with a terrible headache and nausea, and that last for most of the day, so I didn't get as much done as I wanted.
I'm feeling better today, though, and now on the countdown to our trip to Italy on Saturday. I just need to get through the week!
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
I'm sorry Bailey!
We had a rough weekend. We got home just after 1pm on Saturday. He did pretty well that afternoon and night but yesterday was a different story. Between him just being uncomfortable and cranky my husband and I were at each others throats. All the stress from this is really putting a toll on our marriage. We have been yelling at each other over the smallest things and I'm really starting to worry.
On happy news today is Edmund's first birthday! I can't believe he is one already.
