Anyone running Broad Street this weekend?
This is my first year and I am excited. If you have run before, any tips for a newbie....this is also my biggest and longest race ever (have done a 5k and 5 miler with a max of 1500 participants).
Re: Anyone running Broad Street this weekend?
It sold out too damn quickly that my H and I couldn't get in
Anyway, last year was my first year doing it and I thought it was a pretty good race.
I was kind of annoyed at people walking in the beginning when I thought I was in not a slow starting heat, so I had to dodge a lot. Other than that it was good. It stays pretty crowded throughout most of the race.
Good luck!
This will be my third year running it! I love this race.
I try to get there at least an hour and a half before the race begins. The port a potty lines are really long and then you want enough time to get in your corral before the race begins. The first year I did not make it to my corral in time and the beginning was a mess for me!
