What are you looking forward to this week?
Stees is out of the office today, so I'll be pseudo-Stees.
M-F is pretty normal except that the evenings will be spent getting the party swag ready.
Saturday is Ellie and Sayre's 2nd Birthday Party Extravaganza! So the morning will be spent getting stuff ready and welcoming OOT guests, and the afternoon will be spent partying it up.
Sunday is Ellie's actual birthday, so we're going to save the presents we got her for then, and I'm going to make her a little cake. That way she gets two days of cake and presents. What's more fun than that?
Re: What are you looking forward to this week?
The next few evenings will be spend baking and decorating cookies for a cookie bouquet for a local preschool silent auction - flowers and butterflies. I'm excited to see how it will turn out, I think it's going to be super cute.
H is camping this weekend, so I have the house to myself again (woot!)
Saturday I'm heading up to Keystone for the day to check out the venue I'll be cooking at for the wedding I'm catering in June
Sunday I'm hoping to plant the veggie/herb garden and test out a new chocolate tart recipe for one of the June wedding events.
The board was so busy last week, so I'm looking forward to spending my first day back to work reading it lol
Other than that, I have nothing during the week. Saturday we may (well DH is, I'm undecided) go into Boston for 2 friends birthdays.
Not much going on this week just the usual cleaning and swim lessons.
I don't have to babysit tonight so I am going to go to BJ's and the grocery store and actually make a good dinner, which since becoming pregnant hasn't seemed to happen much.
I'll be making those adorable pinata cookies all over social media for Cinco de Mayo.
Then, we'll be headed to a pop up restaurant opening (by Mike Isabella of Top Chef fame) for Mexican tapas and custom margarita pairings.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Honestly, I'm looking forward to my surgery tomorrow. Maybe for once, I won't be in pain anymore.
Aside from that, Brett is going away for the weekend and I am so looking forward to some alone time.
