DH's step-brother is getting married in September, they've been engaged for a while now, and a couple of weeks ago his step-mother texted us and said, they're getting married this September. Ok, no problem. They sent out save the dates last week, I think. DH is going to be a groomsmen. Last night, I get a text from SMIL saying the date has changed (but DH hears nothing, even though he is IN the wedding) to the Friday of that same weekend. Ok whatever, they're fault for sending save the dates already. Then I read the text aloud to DH and realize it's at 5:00 on Friday, and we have to drive from MA to CT, on a FRIDAY. Basically we both will have to take that day off now, in addition I assume DH will need to be there Thursday night for a rehearsal, so he will probably have to take at least a half day on Thursday if not a full day to be able to get there in time. I realize it's their wedding, do what you want, it's just frustrating.
SMIL also tells me the date of the shower. Of course we'll be on vacation that week, the only week we're going away this summer.
Alissa, that's so annoying!
I have a few B&Ms today.
1. I'm really sick of students asking the same question over and over again. If you're not going to remember what we talked about, TAKE NOTES during our meeting or refer back to the email I already sent you that answered your question.
2. My patience is absolutely gone today, as you can tell by #1 lol.
3. It's only Monday, which means it's another 5 days until I can sleep in.
4. DH has all day off today, except his class from 6-9pm. I work all day until 5:45pm, so we'll just miss each other. However, there is a silver lining since he said he was going to clean today and get groceries.
5. Ex-boss called me twice about a student this morning and I hate the tone she uses while speaking to me. It's always either accusatory or condescending, and I'm having quite the time biting my tongue about it.
AF arrived today and I am not going to lie - I am pretty damned p!ssed off.
I am looking forward to vacation, but I hate packing. The suitcases are just staring at me.
My sister is pissing me off. She is being a baby about watching Copper for me. God forbid giving my dog his medicine interferes with her social life and her cheating boyfriend.
(#1 has caused me to be a b!tch today as you can tell).
I completely forgot to send of my income tax on Friday and today is my last day to do it. I've had to drive to town every day for the last week and a half and I'm totally not wanting to get dressed or put any effort into anything today.
We have 6 cows left to calve and they're taking their sweet-ass time.
I'm hesitant to be happy about the grass again, because guaranteed as soon as I want to enjoy it, we'll get another dumping of snow.
My BIL is decided to fly-in from BC to visit and asked us the day before he arrived if he could stay with us. And there's no enough food in the house to feed all three of us.
My mom wants to get a family picture taken today, so I have to leave work early do go do something I'd rather not do.
I'm more tired today because I had a busy/fun weekend, but it was worth it because I had a lot of fun on Saturday.
Im really annoyed with my job right now. I'm SO tired of sitting in this dumpy trailer and I'm bored here. It's so frustrating. And I have a headache and I'm pissy that my coworker has been getting special treatment and I'm just irritated.
I wish it was 6:35 pm Tuesday right now instead of 3:33 Monday.

I'll come watch Copper. He loves me!
I need an f'ing time turner if I'm going to get through the next 4 weeks of work. Oh June 1st, come fast, but not so fast that I can't get this all done. This week is going to be the worst.
I also wish I didn't have to put out so many fires for other people during the work day so I could focus on my OWN work. I love doing 7 people's jobs.
The dogs got into the garbage and spread it all over the house because David didn't take it out when I asked him to and he didn't put the dogs gate up either. WTG DH
David called in sick, slept in, and went to the chiro this morning because his back hurt. I wish I could just call in sick every time my f'ing back hurt.
