As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Nest Board Conversion Update **UPDATED**

I just read a post on the mod board from Nest Dani that they are planning to move forward with the rest of The Nest board conversion tonight. She says they hope it goes better than the first round since they have worked out many of the issues.
Just thought I'd let y'all know. Carry on with your crafting 
(and on a personal note--my Ottobre has still not arrived 
and there are people posting their finished projects on flickr and the yahoogroup.)
UPDATE---um, so apparently the conversion did not happen as planned since they still have issues with disappearing posts. I guess we just got another stay of execution for the time being

Oh, Nest Dani... already lying to us!
I know they always do their site updates on Thursday or Friday, smack in the middle of the day- so they can all run away for the weekend when things inevitably go wrong.
ETA: I'm feeling Ottobre envy, too. Someone in the big Flickr group posted stuff she made over a week ago. Cranky.
