Am I the only person that finds Sophia Vergara
annoying as hell? Now she has a new Kmart collection and the commercial keeps coming on. I may have nightmares if I can't get her voice to stop running through my head.

Lol. That's an awesome analogy.
What is she selling at Kmart?
She's a little over the top, but she doesn't drive me totally nuts.
I think she's funny on Modern Family, but that may only be by contrast to the Dunphy family who is really unfunny (except for Luke).

I love her on Modern Family. But I almost never watch tv anymore and the maybe 2 times a week I turn it on, she's all over the place. Plus, she's in my magazines, on several websites...too much!!!
I love her. She was hysterical on SNL doing Fran Drescher.
She's going to play me in the Lifetime movie about my life. lol
Eh. I don't get the love. She's OK on Modern Family and decently good looking. What annoys me is how she milks the "I can't speak English very well because I'm an exotic immigrant" thing. I think she makes her accent worse on purpose for half of her commercials, which there are far too many of. It's like the Ricky Ricardo schtick, except it's not original or funny anymore. I especially hate the Covergirl one with Ellen where Ellen makes fun of her, saying she can't understand her and "whea bluh blah?" Why would Sophia be OK with that commercial?!
I'm not hating on people with accents, btw. My parents moved to the US from Puerto Rico when they were in their 30s and their accents have never been that strong, despite their not knowing English when they arrived in 1976. It's how she seems to dumb herself down to play into the stereotype that bugs me. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how it seems to me. Obviously I don't know her.
