Crossfitters: When do you replace your shoes?

What's a good indication that I should be replacing my shoes? I replace my running shoes between 350-400 miles in the summer but I've been using the same crossfitting shoes for a while. They aren't ripped but are low profile shoes so I'm kinda lost.

Re: Crossfitters: When do you replace your shoes?

  • That's a good question! I wish I knew... I would guess that they're probably fine until they start falling apart. I currently wear my old running shoes for CrossFit, since they have been worn down so there's less cushioning (which is better for lifting). I haven't bought lifting shoes yet. Unfortunately my old running shoes are starting to fall apart, there's a seam coming loose. Anyway, if your shoes aren't hurting your feet, they're probably fine.
