Noob/lurker who is also interested in Clairsonic talk.

I just bought a knock off. I have been having problems with Acne Comedonica and was hoping this would help. My skin is SENSITIVE (and I have roscea), so I was curious what people would recommend using with it, re: cleanser.

Right now I am just using cetaphil and I'd like something else, because I normally just use cetaphil for my AM face washing. I was using St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Cleanser Oil-Free and I might just buy more of that.

Anyway, any advice would be appreciated :)

  • I too have extremely sensitive skin. You can use whatever face wash that you like, I'm currently using Dermalogica. I wouldn't recommend using it twice a day right away, start out every other day. I have read that some people's skin will "purge" when they first start using it but it should clear quickly. If you are worried about not liking it, buy it from a site that will allow returns.
  • I bought it from BB&B. The cashier was very clear that I would be able to return it.

I used it this AM with my cetaphil.....no huge or noticeable change, yet. I know to give it time.

I am hoping to get a rewards certificate to Ulta soon....maybe I can use it for some face wash.

    Thanks for the input.

  • Because I'm also sensitive I kept using the cleanser I used before I had clairsonic. I still noticed that my skin improved.
  • i alternate cleansers.  in the morning, i use clinique's facial soap bar, and at night, i use first boscia's makeup breakup (which i have found to make a HUGE difference in my skin), and then pevonia's rs2 line for redness-prone skin.  i use the clarisonic once per day, usually in the morning.
