f/u to nail post yesterday - FormerCityGirl

Yesterday Seche Vite was recommended as a good top coat that dries fast with no sheet marks.  I was going to try it, but didn't know which one to pick!  Amazon seems to sell a ton of different ones.  Can you share a  link?

TIA

  • Thanks :)  I think I'll hit Ulta at lunch :P

She was likely talking about this one --  http://www.amazon.com/Seche-Vite-Dry-Fast-Coat/dp/B00150LT40/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1335874832&sr=8-1

    It's magical and life changing.

Really, it's that good?  And only $5?  Sounds like I'll be hitting Ulta up today, too.  If it's so great, I don't get why nail salons don't use it.  My two day old manicure is already starting to look kind of rough (which may be partially due to my damaged nails, but I still don't think I've ever had one go more than three days before chipping)

ETA:  Looks like $10 at Ulta.  If this stuff dries fast and can help me get maybe five days out of a manicure, I'll be pretty thrilled.

Yes, it is that good and that's the one.  Make sure you use it when the polish is still tacky.  It needs to absorb into the other polish to dry quickly.  It will thicken when about half of the bottle is gone, but polish thinner will fix that.  I find that the products I use regulary work really well and save me a fortune in mani/pedis.

I've used it for years and my nails are healthy and almost perfect after biting them for most of my life.  I don't do nail salons since 3 different family members in different cities have had nail fungus problems resulting in literall years to fix.  I get bored with my polish before it start getting really bad and I swim daily in the Summer.  It also keeps chlorine from eating nail polish which it does very quickly.
