Re: Weekly Check-in

  • I lost 3 pounds last week. 2 of which were the ones I had gained the previous week. I chalk that up to stress. I also only ran 10 miles last week. I also chalk that up to stress.

Well, I say I only ran 10 miles, but I also had an epic softball game on Friday night. I fielded at least a third of the outs for our team at second base, and I'm still .667 for the season. Woo!

  • I didn't lose this week. Last week I had a training schedule free week. I ran 3x, lifted 2x, and went on a 5 mile hike with 40lbs in my pack (training for backpacking this summer). I also started training with my SIL with the C25K. I'm going to see how training with her and doing my speed training program will work. It's interesting to be on the other side of the training partnership. I've never done doubles, so we'll see how that works! I felt good after yesterdays double, run/walk intervals and lifting, but I'm not sure if will be sustainable for me.

I have a crazy busy week this week, so my goal is to keep up with my training schedule.

  • I've had no scale movement as of late. I think this might be it for me. Vacation in 3 weeks then TTC, I'm def not dieting on vacation and once I get pregnant it's really not recommended either. I've been working 10 hour days at work so I just want to come home and die, I haven't been to the gym in three weeks. I've been getting lots of lifting in unintentionally at work though. 40" tvs are not light.
