A few weeks ago I was complaining to my mom about my elbows being itchy and dry. I was using lotion daily (mostly Bath and Body Works stuff), but it didn't appear to do much good. My mom told me that she liked a certain lotion, that it was amazing, and gave me the bottle to try some. It's called AmLactin.
After about 3 days my elbows felt soft! I was amazed! The bottle isn't super attractive and I most likely wouldn't have picked it out myself, but yay for my mom finding this! I'm looking forward to having a hydrating lotion for summer. My legs always seem to get dry patches in the summer (naturally, since I want to wear short, lol!).
If you have dry skin, you might like this. It's a little pricey ($17 I think?) but seriously. I love it.
I hope I don't sound spammy. I just seriously love this stuff. I was all, "Mom, feel my elbows! They're soft now!" ![]()

Re: Awesome lotion rec for dry skin
They sell it at Costco - $20 for a big bottle. I've never tried it, but that's not a bad price for a good lotion, in that size.

Ahh, to live in a land with a Costco. Maybe I will one day. That and Whole Foods.
Oooh....my sympathies go out to you
