spartan race. have you done one?
my local living social has a great deal on the spartan race in December in Malibu. I'm really intrigued, but rather daunted. fire pits? rope climbs? a shitton of mud (which has never appealed to me at all)?
if you've done a spartan race or one similar with crazy obstacles, I'd love to hear from you about your experience. bonus points if you're a super girly girl who doesn't typically like to get dirty.

i'm so torn. living social's deal is $49 with some VIP stuff included. what should I do?
Me either, but it wasn't so bad. The first part of the swim was in shallow water and I basically walked it. The next part was in about 20 ft of water, we also had the option to walk around. Probably the worst part was swimming over logs- they had placed 3 logs across the course and you had to kinda push them down in the water and swim over. It was really fun, though, I laughed the whole time!
I'm sure if you look at the website it will have all the obstacles listed.

yes, it is the sprint! i'd be afraid to make my first obstacle run anything harder than the most basic, beginner level.
and yup, i signed up. i'm such a sucker. i couldn't pass up the chance to do it for cheaper than normal.
