Do you keep seeing Body by Vi Challenge on FB?

I've tolerated a regular FB poster, who is constantly talking about Visalus (sp?) shakes and the 90 day challenge, Body by Vi, etc.  But yesterday, when I got invited to a 90 day challenge tasting party by a teacher friend, I declined and referred to the system as a pyramid scheme.  I think I hit a nerve.  She asked me to remove my post, so I did.

I am not a fan of weight loss products.  I've found that restriction can be damning and anything in moderation plus a focus on getting physical activity is all that's necessary for healthy, sustainable weight loss.

That said, what does H&F think of the Vi shakes? Harmless but unnecessary? Pyramid scheme?   Simple "network" marketing?  Or maybe you see it like Mary Kay, and you think I'm overreacting???

Re: Do you keep seeing Body by Vi Challenge on FB?

  • YES! i'm about to defriend someone over it. and i'd be willing to bet the posts are canned posts they are all using.

if i have to read one more time how NOT working for body by vi means i'm destined for a bmw free life of mediocrity in the office where i will certainly miss every  milestone my child has because i'm not working from home i.will.scream.
