It's Wednesday, it's also McHappy Day here (do you guys have that in the US?) which I love. $1 from the sale of every Big Mac, Happy Meal or McCafe hot beverage goes to the Ronald McDonald House. Back when I worked at McDonald's, McHappy Day was always one of my favourites to work, and I'm definitely down for supporting a charity that did so much for Tim and Shannon.
Other than that, I hope to get some reading done and some walking!

Good morning, all. Not much going on here--just at work putting some finishing touches on a few items, and wondering whether or not I should go and get coffee.
Last night was quiet--we got home, hit the gym, had really simple dinners, then went to bed. Tonight I'm on my own for a while. I might do the simple dinner thing again since I'm committed to lunch and dinner out tomorrow night. I may join the gym's running group for a 5K today--we'll see.

Morning everyone. I agree with Chica, I've never heard of McHappy Day, but it definitely sounds like a good cause.
Last night was good. I had dinner with a bunch of friends and then just relaxed at home. Today is going to be busy at work, but other than that, fairly uneventful.

I like the idea of McHappy day.
Last night was good. I went for run. It's getting so hot here. EEEK. Then met up with Dh and my BIL at the park. Poor BIL he has law school finals this week and his neighbor below him has been playing music so loud that he can't sleep. We told him to come over if it was bad. About an hour after we dropped him off at home he called and asked to come over. I think while we are gone this weekend he may stay at our house.
In good news I leave in two days! yipee!! I can't wait.
It sounds like it may not be a US thing. I've never heard of McHappy Day either, but I love the concept.
Last night I did manage to get quite a bit accomplished. I stripped the boys beds, wiped them down, washed their blankies, put away all of their clothes, and cleaned their room some. It was funny because when Christin climbed in his crib, he was like, "wowww" and laid down and automatically covered himself with his blankie. I guess he likes the feeling of fresh sheets. Ha ha. That kid cracks me up.
I'm not feeling great today, but hoping to make it through the work day. My stomach just feels off, but I think it might because of AF, but who knows. I'm hoping that is all that it is.
Tonight, I plan on going to bed early since I didn't sleep well last night.

Last night was more of the usual. Get up, change Madison, feed her, try to go back to bed. We did manage to give her bath which she really needed. During the day I did get out for my walk which was fantastic. I think we went about 2 miles. I'm a bit more sore today but it was worth it and I want to get to it more often.
Right now I'm waiting for FIL to come pick us up and take us to the hospital for Madison's ultrasound. Fingers crossed that everything is okay but I don't think we'll know the results for a while.
Mark should be home nice and early today (3:30) which I'm looking forward to. We need some us time.

We are still getting settled in the new city and I have my first OB appointment today! I really hope that I like him because I really don't have much time to find someone else if I don't. We have so much to go over with him and we still need to actually visit the hospital we will deliver at and hopefully get a tour and maybe a class or something. I feel so far behind with this pregnancy. Since we weren't delivering with our old OB, we never really had any discussions about L&D and our options. Yikes!

I was in a horrible mood yesterday and my boss was being a raging a-hole, so by the time I got off work all I wanted to do was go home and go to bed. We ordered a pizza I picked up the house a little then went to bed.
I'm determined to have a better day today! It's supposed to be almost 80* today so I think I'll try to get in some yard work tonight and enjoy the sunshine.
I wish we had Mchappy day!
I am back at work today and P is feeling much better. Still got a nasty runny nose but I called daycare to check on him and still no sign of fever so I hope that part is gone.
We are suppose to have baseball practice tonight but its also suppose to rain this afternoon. I really hope it rains for a couple of reasons. We really need the rain and I don't want to have to get P out in the heat for 2 hours for Jordan to practice. If not we will make do I guess. Its really hot here I am afraid its going to be a bad summer only may 2nd and we are already in the 90's.
Hello ladies. Things have been really busy at work recently and I feel like I don't have time to nest. It totally sucks when work gets in the way of my fun!
But, on the plus side, we head to Italy in 3 days, and since I managed to lose my work blackberry in Amsterdam, and it hasn't been replaced, I am going to be completely disconnected from work. Yay for that!
We have dinner tonight with a friend at our favourite Mexican restaurant. We haven't been in ages, and my mouth is already starting to water for it. If it weren't for that, I think raynes had me leaning towards a dirty dirty big mac. I haven't heard of McHappy days, but that sounds really good about now!
