It's so quiet around here. Anyone got any good plans for summer?
Re: summer plans?
We don't usually take a "summer vacation." We tend to go spring or fall when it is less busy. I've decided I am going to take some random days off this summer, like one every other week, just to have a free day during the week to do whatever I want.
Might go to my parents for 2 days in August for a Toby Keith concert by them.
That's it. We're tentatively planning on Europe in September though.
Wish I could have the whole summer off!

No summer plans.
I'm actually pretty bummed because I had fully planned on having a camper by now and to be camping at least once a month for long weekends. This makes me sad.
I also really wanted to go back to Nantucket this summer, but Pat never seems to want to take time off from work. I really don't know what his hang up is.

Vegas at the end of the month
Lots and lots of camping...especially in July. We have 10 (non-consecutive) days of camping planned. Can't wait!

We were going to the island for a week but I don't think that's going to work out with the new job. I'm hoping we can take a long weekend and go somewhere. I would really like to go Acadia, stay in Bar Harbor for a night or two. Then go up to the top of the new Bucksport bridge and go up the observation tower. This will also put us in the area of my grandparents house and I would like to show JT the house since he's never been there.
I'm just super pumped I get holidays off now so that will be a great break.

No real vacation plans.
My MIL and I talked about a possible trip to Sesame Place and the Crayola Factory. And we also tossed around the idea of taking in a Phil's game. It's been a few years since we've gone. They used to go to a ball game every summer when DH and BIL were younger...up until about 5 years ago. The last one DH went to was in July of 2008....the same day as my bridal shower. I've only been to one and that was in 2007.
Other than that, there are a few family bbq's planned and I plan on spending every weekend at our river lot. I love campfires, mountain pies, and smores on the weekends.
May-going away (do not know where as Brian is planning) for Memorial Day weekend.
June-no clue but I am sure we will do a weekend getaway. I am going to a Conference in June which should be fun, actually
July-annual gold prospecting trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (can you tell I am excited
) Another conference in mid July.
August-no clue. I want to go to Vegas (I know, hot as hell but the prices are cheaper). We may wait until our anniversary
