NPR: Anyone ever dealt with LEGO customer service?

Wondering if I'm the only one who had a terrible experience.

  • unlurking - shared that link with a friend who recently left the company... they were huge dicknoses to her.

What the hell kind of toy company is mean to a KID like that?! I hope you tell your story far and wide.

  • We have not dealt with them directly, but it doesn't surprise me b/c I've had issues with their website policies in the past.  They are just all around bad, IMO.  Shipping is ridiculous, stupid return policies, etc.

That makes me mad - Jackson loves his Legos but I hate giving money to companies that treat kids like that!

This kind of story is their thing.  They might even get him a better resolution.

    I am the 99%.
  • That is shitty - we've gotten letters from kids before and it's adorable. I think there still one hanging up in the kitchen from like 2009. I imagine it happens more often at a toy company, but still.

I wonder if it's some Danish quirk, or it probably came from the US offices?

ETA: great job publicizing it. I really think social media is a huge asset to consumers.

  • I am really shocked. I would never in a million years think Lego, of all companies, would have shitastic customer service.
