Now that it's getting warm here (hig of 90 today!!) my hair is a mess.
My hair is a couple inches past my shoulders, all one length. It's pretty thick. I have a lot of "frizzies" - short pieces that are not the not long enough to be pulled back, primarily because my hair is in rough shape. I wear it pulled back almost all the time, and I think I'm getting a lot of damage to my hair.
This is usually an issue, with these pieces not staying down/in place. But not that it's humid, my hair is a mess. I strightened this morning, and I look rediculous already, and I've been inside ALL day.
Suggestion to get my hair in better shape and look healthier?

Re: Frizzy hair and humidity
Blog: Call Me Imelda
as mavjen stated, the shampoo and conditioner makes all the difference in the world for me. I rotate so many products and haven't really found a holy grail but salt spray really gives me definition and natural waves.
I rarely straighten my hair in summer (also I'm trying to grow it out and I cringe at split ends!) but when I do, i use a flatiron spray by CHi and I think that stuff is like starch! and then wipe some Oleo relax on the dry ends.
My heart is as open as the sky.
Read about it on the blog
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
I agree with that! I don't really like it, but it definitely works!
I used to straighten my hair daily, and I still do when I'm visiting FL... Chi makes an "oil" that you put in your hair (similar to Moroccan Oil). As long as I use that and my CHI flat iron, my hair is totally fine. It could rain on me and my hair will stay semi-straight and frizz free. My hair is naturally wavy and frizzy, so on humid and/or rainy days, I live for that CHI oil/iron combo
