VeryContrary, this post is for you...
You've finnished Insurgent by now right?!?
Please come in here and talk to me.
Re: VeryContrary, this post is for you...
You really do. It's amazing.
I did! I loved it, but I kept finding myself wishing that it wasn't a YA novel and that Four and Tris would get it on. If they didn't have all that ridiculous sexual tension maybe they would stop lying to each other constantly.
What were your thoughts on the ending?

Ha, I know! They didn't seem so young to me, because they were working out some serious relationship issues, which I loved.
The ending was.... Amazing, yet somewhat predictable... IDK. I felt that it was a natural explanation of their society, so that was wonderful. I am so glad that the secret was out, I was worried that we were going to have to wait for the next book for that. What did you think?
It came to the point where I wasn't sure whether or not the information would get destroyed (leaving Marcus as the only one "in the know") and I was freaking out.
Now I'm trying to figure out Edith Prior's relationship to Tris. How long has this social experiment been going on?!

My guess she is a grandmother or aunt, because didn't Marcus say something like "they brought us here"? So maybe because of his Divergence, he can remember the time before they made the society...
