Glam Bag from Myglam.com (?)

Anyone ever sign up for Myglam.com? just wondering because I "liked" them on facebook ages ago, never actually signed up cause I wasn't sure if it was a scam.

Then I came across this board and thought you guys would be the best to ask.

Worth 10$ a month?

Re: Glam Bag from Myglam.com (?)

  • Definitely not a scam, but you will get mixed reviews.  I've received three bags with them so far, and the first two sucked.  Like, there wasn't a single thing in the bags that I'd use.  A lot of people complained to them, and the last bag I loved.  It had an Urban Decay travel sice 24/7 liner, which I thought was awesome, and also a Dermstore lip quench that I like.  Oh, and false lashes, which are kind of fun.  They are very new, so whether or not it's worth it is TBD in my opinion (although several girls on here already cancelled their subscription).  I know that this month's bag includes a lipstick (not sure if full size) and a perfume sample.  If their bags continue to have one good makeup product per bag, I'll be happy with spending $10 a month.
  • I only did it for a month but it was TERRIBLE. One of the "products" was a coupon they billed as a gift card. If you want something like it, try Birch Box. Much better products and much more organized.
  • I also fall into the - it was terrible category. I signed up for three months and cancelled. I have heard what others received in their boxes after I cancelled and I would have been unhappy with the products. I also prefer Birchbox, which I had, cancelled and signed up for again and have been happy since.

It's only $10 - sign up it may be what you are looking for.

  • I hated it. I tried it for one month, and it was terrible. The bag included 2 chocolates (WTF) and they had melted all over the bag and the products.
  • I think myglam blows. I've been much happier with BirchBox, BeautyArmy, and TestTube.

  • I get myglam and birchbox and I like them both.  There have been some really crappy things in the myglam bags, but there has always been at least 1 thing that I felt made it worth the $10. I got a full size cleanser in March that retails over $20 and April there was a great UD eyeliner and a lip gloss that I use every day.  February's bag did really suck though, I really can't defend that one!

For $10, it's small price to pay to get a little surprise in the mail once a month.  Plus if you don't like it, you can always cancel.

I signed up for both for this month, who ever I'm happier with I'll keep the subscription too. for 10$ (20$) I would love to get a fun surprise in the mail. All our bills are online so the only mail we get is junk mail and flyers. =/ I literally get the mail once a week right now.
