I enjoyed the episode, but I felt there were so many holes in the story.
How did Daniel know that Lee (the guy who hung himself in the prison) was extorting his parents? And if he knew that, wouldn't he have suspected them all on his own and not oh-so-suddenly after Jack's visit?
Also, I find it hard to believe the Victoria would keep a picture of David Clarke with his murderer in the same photograph! Assuming she knew how he died, why not just cut out the picture of David to keep for memory? Also, kind of a weird photo to have, who would've taken it, given it to her, etc.? Does not make sense that photography would be allowed in prisons.
On the same note, I find it odd that David Clarke's notebook was recovered after he was killed.
I kind of wish the writing were a little better in this respect. They're making things too easy for Emily, in a way.
Re: Revenge 05/02 (spoilers)
This. And Daniel talked with his Dad too, so he found out some things.

I'm pretty sure Mason told Daniel a lot of that stuff, thinking the Grayson's already said something to him, or trying to fill him in.
I didn't get the whole Victoria with a picture thing. I'm still not sure she loved David 100%.
Daniel mentioned this to Emily before he talked to his Dad.
Jack told Daniel it was his hoodie in the car & that the hoodie had been taken from his home. Obviously this means it was a set up. Who would have the power to set someone up and who would want to do it to protect Daniel? This road obviously leads to the Graysons. Daniel isn't stupid. He knows what his family is like. These are all points Jack made to Daniel...I'm not sure I get the confusion.
I don't think she loves anyone as much as she loves herself. They've shown that she's very motivated by self-preservation.
Jack never mentioned that Lee was extorting his parents. But Daniel knew that when he spoke to Emily. This was before he talked to his father, so I was wondering how he found that out. I don't think Mason knew about Lee.
I agree that the holes in the story are starting to seem unreasonable to me too.
I don't know how David Clark's notebook was recovered. In the scene where he was killed he was holding it and had just been writing in it so you would think the killer would have taken it. So I don't know how it ended up with Nolan.
Victoria keeping that picture was probably more for devious reasons than for her to keep as a momento for her love of David. Maybe she planned to keep in case she ever needed to blackmail someone, IDK. I don't know who would have taken this photo to begin with. I agree with pp that Victoria is all about self preservation.
I'm also kind of wondering what the deal is with Emily. I know she wants to get revenge on the Grayson's but wouldn't having Daniel go to prison for a crime he didn't commit help her towards that goal? It seems to me that Victoria is doing more harm by turning in her Husband to the goverment agency guy she was talking to than Emily has. Did Emily have real feelings for Daniel or something? I know after Daniel's interview and he didn't out his family she made the comment to Nolan that he really is "one of them" so I take it her feelings towards him have changed now.
