Randoms and Gripes
Some dumbass parked in the drive through drop off lane at daycare this morning. The car was already there when I pulled up, and I had time to go in, sign Ethan in, drop him off, have a 30 sec conversation with the director about her new grandson, and get back to my car with no person in sight. By then, somebody else had parked behind me, so I had to wait for them to get back to their car and back out, so I could.
There's a parking lot to the side. Yeah, you have to walk a bit farther, but you don't screw up normal operations for every other parent. I'm still irritated. It wound up costing me close to ten minutes.
Re: Randoms and Gripes
Also, one of the finalists in Idol is from my hometown, and I'm laughing so hard at my dad commenting on Idol on FB. It wouldn't be funny to anyone else, but he's just not an Idol guy, and this was his status this morning.
"Idol observations: (1) Voted for Skylar; (2) Joshua is gonna win the whole thing; (3) Hollie stole the show tonight; and (4) Phillip needs to go home."
Funny! I actually am enjoying Idol this year. I loved Elise Testone and am sad that she's gone. She grew up pretty close to where we live now and my h's coworker knows her. How's that for six degrees of pointless and insignificant?
I agree with your dad that Joshua should win the whole damn thing. He is a-freakin-mazing.

We had this happen in the parking lot of our store. Someone was parked illegally in a made up space and it was preventing the person from backing out. They had a big SUV and the illegally parked car was something little. That SUV just backed up right into it, pulled out and just left. It was kinda funny.
My (TMI) random. I got my period today and am praising every deity I can. It was pretty late and I was starting to go nuts.
