Going blonde again, need shampoo/conditioner recs please

My hair is long and wavy, gets frizzy easily. When it's dyed its natural light brown, it's easy to keep the frizz away. But when I put highlights in, it definitely poofs!

Typically, I use Pureology Volumizing, but I know that's not going to work at all w/ the highlights (past experience ;)

Please rec. a very moisturizing shampoo and conditioner that's good for color treated/bleached hair. I'd prefer no sulfates, but really whatever will keep my hair looking healthy is fine!

FWIW, here is my color inspiration that I'm bringing in to my stylist. Debating between just a beige blonde or strawberry blond (since I have a little natural red in my hair) I'm sooooooooo wanting a change (but don't want to cut my hair) and am really excited about this. Getting it done Sat. morning :)

  • I've been using Fekkai samples since I went blonde, but am about to run out.  I just bought this, which gets rave reviews and is cheap.  I ordered online and haven't received it yet.

In case the link doesn't work, it is Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Color Care shampoo and conditioner.  People on MUA rave about it (4.3 rating).  It is low sulfate.

  • Have you tried the Pureology Moisturizing line? It's all I use and I color the ever loving crap out of my hair. Happens when you have a girlfriend who is a stylist...... but anyway..... It's enough moisturizing for me, even with my highlights that sound like they do a lot of the same thing yours does. Since you already love the brand, I would try another formula!  Also, I really love the Enjoy hair mask for deeper treatments maybe once a week or so...

Agree, maybe you just need a different formula.

My sister highlights her hair and actually uses the formula in the gold bottle, I believe it is the nano works. She has used it since high school, when she was on the diving team. Her hair never had any issues with turning "green" nor was it ever dry, she was in the pool 7 days a week and her hair is a super light blonde.

They also make a formula for blonde hair, Perfect 4 Platinum

  • Thank girls! I knew Pureology had a moisturizing line but I didn't realize they had the other lines as well. I'll check those out! I might try the Suave too..I'm kicking myself because I have 2 large shampoos and 1 large conditioner of Pureology that havent even been opened yet! Grrrr. That's what I get for stocking up on sales. At least my 2 bottles in the shower are almost empty.
